Pinking the fabric along a seam works best with tightly woven fabrics such as cotton, chiffon, denim, flannel, taffeta, and chintz. These pinking shears can also be used for other sewing and craft projects, as the precision zigzag cut can create a crisp decorative edge.Measuring nine inches in length, SINGER Pinking Shears feature blades made from durable stainless steel for a long life. The soft grip handle provides a comfortable grip, and its white and gray color scheme gives it a clean, modern look.For best performance, oil joints regularly and keep shears clean and moisture free. Never use them to cut materials for which they are not designed.
